The Real Life Entrepreneur Series
Your First Business Reset
Give yourself 90 minutes to think about your business again.
As business owners, we spend most of our time working in our business.
Serving clients.
Answering emails.
Managing projects.
Solving problems.
Making decisions.
Somewhere along the way, we stop making time to simply think about our business.
Not because we don't want to.
Because life gets busy.
This workshop is your invitation to press pause.
For 90 minutes, you'll step away from the day-to-day and look at your business with fresh eyes through a guided conversation designed to spark new ideas, challenge old assumptions, and help you think differently about what comes next.
Join Jodi for an interactive workshop introducing the Business Reset philosophy and helping you recognize when your business has outgrown the way it's being run.
This workshop isn't about learning more.
You already know your business better than anyone else.
This workshop is about giving yourself the time and space to ask questions you've probably been carrying around for months.
Questions like ...
Why does running my business feel harder than it used to?
Is it time to raise my prices?
Am I offering too many services?
Should I hire — or do I need to simplify first?
Why do I keep saying yes to opportunities that don't really fit?
Where do I want my business to be in the next few years?
You won't be asked to solve all of those questions during the workshop.
Instead, you'll begin looking at them in a different way.
What we'll do together
During our 90 minutes together, we'll:
Explore why growing businesses naturally change over time.
Talk about why some decisions feel harder than they should.
Introduce the idea of Return on Decisions — how one thoughtful decision today can influence your business for years to come.
Complete a short Business Reset Reflection to help you start looking at your own business with fresh perspective.
Leave plenty of room for conversation, reflection, and curiosity.
No lectures.
No overwhelming workbook.
No pressure to have everything figured out.
Just a thoughtful conversation with other business owners who understand what it's like to build something from an idea.
"This is not about doing more. It is about doing what matters — with what you actually have right now."
What you'll leave with
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with:
A fresh perspective on your business.
One new insight about where your business is today.
One question you'll want to keep exploring.
A simple Business Reset Reflection to continue thinking after the workshop.
A new appreciation for the value of making time to talk about your business.
Sometimes the biggest breakthrough isn't finding the answer.
It's finally asking the right question.
Is this workshop for you?
This workshop is designed for business owners who have been running their business for a few years and have a feeling something needs to change — even if they can't quite put their finger on what that is.
It's for you if:
You've been putting off an important business decision.
Your business feels more complicated than it used to.
You're questioning your pricing, your services, or your direction.
You've been so busy keeping everything moving that you haven't had time to stop and think.
You miss having meaningful conversations about your business.
You don't need to have a problem to attend.
You just need to be curious.
A note from me
One of my favourite parts of my work is sitting down with business owners and hearing the story behind what they've built.
Every business began as an idea.
Someone had the courage to take a risk, solve a problem, and create something that didn't exist before.
I never lose sight of that.
What I've also noticed is that we don't talk about our businesses enough anymore.
We're constantly connected, yet meaningful conversations have become rare.
We text.
We email.
We post on social media.
We jump from one meeting to the next.
But we rarely sit down and have an honest conversation about our business — where it's been, where it is today, and where we want it to go next.
That's what this workshop is really about.
Not more information.
Not another checklist.
Just 90 minutes to slow down, think differently, and start talking about your business again.
Because sometimes the most valuable thing you can do isn't work harder.
It's make time for the conversation you've been too busy to have.
For some people, this workshop is exactly what they need.
For others, it's the beginning of something more.
If you leave with questions you'd like to explore further, a Business Reset Conversation gives us the opportunity to apply everything we've talked about to your business, your goals, and the decisions you're facing today.
I'd love to continue the conversation when you're ready.
